We provide a high quality education and training service which we continually evaluate. We have many corporate clients in many sectors including oil, engineering, health care management, government and banking. As a team we draw from various professions and backgrounds giving a unique approach to parenting and the workplace.
We have won awards for social enterprise, supporting mental wellbeing in the workplace and two awards for research. We have a joint publication on mental wellbeing for new parents which is now being distributed by the charity Scottish Association for Mental Wellbeing (SAMH).
Emma - Director

Emma is a qualified HR professional and Birth Educator with experience in all aspects of pregnancy and parenting. Emma's background is originally in business and human resources having worked previously for a large organisation based in London. As a mother of three Emma brings a wealth of valuable information and experience. Emma’s qualifications are BSc Chemistry, Dip Personnel Admin, Diploma in Higher Education (Antenatal Education).
Sonya - Director
Sonya is an independent teaching midwife, antenatal teacher and trainer with many years of experience within midwifery and a fertility centre. Sonya is responsible for running First Aid 4 Babies, Consultancy and corporate training. Over the years Sonya has developed an interest in the media development of The Baby Gurus and can now be found blogging and tweeting. As a mother of three, she brings a personal understanding of pregnancy and parenting. Sonya has been involved in research improving understanding of antenatal depression and support of pregnancy in the workplace.
Sally-Anne - London Senior Educator
Sally-Anne's is as a qualified antenatal educator, doula and lecturer in early years. Prior to working with The Baby Gurus Sally-Anne completed a BA Social Policy and Administration as well as a MSC Management Development and Social responsibility. Sally-Anne is responsible for The Baby Gurus London services including corporate seminars, corporate training, antenatal classes and First Aid 4 Babies. Sally-Anne is also a mum to two lovely boys.
